  1. solves the cpu problem, but functionality is lost, like clicking on your design and having cursor move to that spot in code view. very strange.

  2. Yep, that’s exactly what happens. I can live with it, but it’s a little annoying.

  3. Try right click, functionality is back.

  4. what do u mean “right click and where?”
    thankyou…

  5. Thanks for the great fix ! Works perfect on my version ! No side effects as well =D

  6. Thanks Man!

  7. So do I need to worry about clicking in the wrong place, is functionality lost with this or should the program work properly?

  8. Geez, why are people so dumb with their comments? Indeed: Right click what!?!?

  9. :) . Now, i already use a original version. :p

  10. Does anyone know if this patch is secure?

  11. secure but messes up template updates. you cannot update your pages that are linked to a template automatically

  12. Worked ok for me… 2% ~ 10%, I’ll notify if something goes wrong.

  13. Worked ok for me to

  14. Thx, it works!

  15. The patch DOES fix the CPU usage problem. However, it also looses the ability to have the cursor jump to the point in code view where you clicked in design view.

What they meant about RIGHT CLICK is simple…. just RIGHT CLICK in the design view where you want the cursor to jump to in code view, and it will jump there. Left clicking no longer works.

Easy enough fix and well worth the CPU usage fix!

  16. Updatd – Don’t get this patch if you plan on actually USING dreamweaver.

The patch causes the PROPERTIES menu to complete not fuction. Changing colors, adding formating, changing fonts…impossible using the properties menu.

Avoid the patch and deal with the CPU usage if you care.

  17. This rocks…thanks…

  18. This patch resolves the problem with cpu usage, but you won’t e able to use the program as you used to. Eg. the preview and other features are disabled.

  19. THANKS IT Worked for me (MENU Is fine and all so far) (vista 64)

  20. thank you very much. this problem was annoying!

  21. Works perfect! Thank you very much.

  22. Does the FTP features work?
    I’m having problems

  23. To work around the problem about clicking the design view not correctly placing the cursor in the code view, use Ctrl-G after clicking in the design view

  24. where is that dreamweaver patch. Can somebody tell me where to fetch it.
    Thanks

  25. Here, http://cfs3.tistory.com/upload_control/download.blog?fhandle=YmxvZzQ5OTk5QGZzMy50aXN0b3J5LmNvbTovYXR0YWNoLzAvNDIuemlw&filename=dw_crack.zip

  26. hi,

lovely patch! works fine on my computer.

    Thanks load!

  27. Below are a couple of observations made during my 5 min. test. Definitely limited functionality. I want to ditch Dreamweaver for HomeSite+.

    WORKS:
    - Preview in a browser, FTP, cursor landing in proper place when switching views, all work.
    DOESN’T WORK:
    - Apply comment on side Code bar; but works if I select code then right click and choose. Code breadcrumb, never worked well anyway.

  28. Works like a charm.

Noticed the CPU usage drop from a flat 100% to 0% on idle.
    Thanks a million!!

  29. Probably some lost functionality…like you have to right click things as stated…but I could care less.

My computer is no longer on fire! CPU is next to nothing (core2 duo 9500…2.6ghz….4GB RAM). This program was eating my CPU alive for several months before I found this.

  30. works perfect for me xp 64bit and yes all you have to do to see the code in when you click design is right click on the element you want to see on the code window and presto.

i guess DW has an engine looking for your movements and it eats processor.

    good job with fix

  31. WARNING it is true what everybody says: you will have to right click to see selection code in code view window, but ALSO you will have to right click to see the properties of your selection in design view. I rather deal with the 50% CPU usage, definitely. So yes, this patch kinda sucks… sorry.

  32. I downloaded patch but I got message “Error in packed file” and I can not open the .zip file…
Any other links to this file??

  33. easy.. download again… :)

  34. Worked 100% for me, no problems listed in the comments, using dell demension 3000 with winxp sp2 and 512mb of ram.

  35. does this crack work for mac to?

  36. did not try.. hemm :|

  37. Thanks for this…

  38. Works like a charm. Thx!
I have no problems @ all.

    DELL inspiron.

  39. Thank bro :D

  40. Great worked perfectly. My Dreamweaver was using 50% and kept crashing whenever I opened one of my larger files, say 2000 lines of code or above, or when I had multiple files open. I use only code view, so ha to resort to Virtual N (aka Notepad). This seems to have fixed both the CPU and the crashing problem. Thank you.

By the way, I have had several issues with Adobe in ColdFusion – in the end they resolved nothing and I had to write my own fixes (eg is so slow it’s useless, so used CFX_openImage and had to write an Activex control to pre-populate the File Field to simplify document uploading and avoid the Browse requirement.

  41. This crack is very very very good. Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  42. it works but….
the design window doesn’t update after editing CSS code.
You have to use a browser to get the actual preview.

  43. I have a trick for dont use anything patch:

    1. Open a document in blank
    2. Open Find dialogue window
    3. push the button Load query, now close Load query window, but button is focused.
    4. Drag the Find window to the bottom right corner of space work and hide all you can
    5. Now press SPACE and Load query bring to front, then drag this dialog to the same right bottom corner
    6. NOW YOU CAN WORK NORMALLY, the only problem when you want to make find or find and replace, but then you can drag the windows that you have in the corner to center and make the find, after you can drag again to the corner.

    7. Enjoy. This trick is dedicated to the chiefs of Adobe, fuck you ! ;-)

  44. Testing my trick I have discover a problem, you can’t use hotkeys like CTRL+C or CTRL-S or other keys combinations only Mouse or ALT keys, but not CTRL keys, so I think patch is better solution…

  45. [...] Dreamweaver Versus Expression? Hello jamesf4, That High CPU bug was patched, see http://syaza.wordpress.com/2007/12/0…ver-cs3-patch/ .. Must have been driving quite a few people nuts for a couple of months though ;) > The latest [...]

  46. any virus in there ?

  47. No viruses, works fine as long as you don’t use dreamweaver like a punk ass bitch (it’s all about the code, design view/sites/DWTs/properties are for pussies). Thanks for the patch and many other cool software cracks I’m sure, .

BTW this site is really creepy, but what can you expect?

  48. [...] [...]

  49. I do use site definitions and upload FTP. But mostly I like code cues, tag selection, etc.
Thanks for the patch! Wasn’t using design view anyways.

  50. Works perfect for my version.

  51. Thanks a lot buddy. It really did work. I wonder such good persons are still there in the world. You solved a huge problem of mine.

  52. Worked great for me, my laptop battery is going to last a lot longer now.
